"WHO ARE YOU?!?!?" "Your worst nightmare." Who is this mysterious man who guards Gotham City? Who is that caped crusader who defends the weak and condemns the powerful? It can be no other than Batman, the Dark Knight. In the second part of The Dark Knight Trilogy, we see how life being Batman is for Bruce Wayne, the wealthy and charming multi-millionaire of Gotham City. But while the Dark Knight is working to finally abolish crime from the streets of Gotham, a new villain is introduced, a criminal mastermind determined, as Alfred Pennyworth said, "to watch the world burn."
"The Dark Knight" takes place in the fictional Gotham City. Bruce Wayne has been Batman for a little while now, and the stress of fighting crime and managing one of the wealthiest businesses in the world is starting to take its toll on him. He is constantly asking himself, "What are my limits, and what happens when I finally realize them?" Now enter The Joker. The white faced, green haired clown run amuck is causing chaos, robbing banks, and murdering innocent civilians, all for his personal fun. It soon becomes clear that this Joker needs to be stopped. But somehow, he is always a step ahead of Batman. The final straw is when he kidnaps District Attorney Harvey Dent. Dent is saved, but at a terrible cost. Half his face is burned off, and Rachael Dawes, his fiance and Batman's good friend, is killed. Recovering at the hospital, Dent is paid a personal visit by the Joker. Smooth talking and persuasive, The Joker recruits Dent as a new villain. Now Batman has two villains to worry about. Joker and Harvey Dent aka Two-Face.
I really enjoyed "The Dark Knight". The costumes and graphics were outstanding, and the plot was almost predictable at first, but it then had a very surprising twist. Even though it wasn't based on a book, the script was well written and each actor really made there character seem real. Over all, I give "The Dark Knight" a four out of five. The movie and its special effects were great, but the special effects also hurt the movie's score. Any kid I know would probably have nightmares after seeing a man with only half a face, the other side incinerated. This, with disturbing images of the Joker and his crimes, along with the PG-13 rating, makes this a movie I would not see if your not an adult or young adult. As for the actors, Christian Bale hits it right on. Heath Ledger really brings the Joker to life and made him the bone chilling villain we know him as today. Finally, Aaron Ledger shows us how Harvey Dent can go from the likable hero to the shadowy villain. To any Batman fan like me, go for it. This movie is the best out there.

The Blind Side Movie Review
Any football lover knows Michael Oher. He's the Offensive Tackle for the Baltimore Ravens, the Pittsburgh Steelers rival. So naturaly, I shouldn't like him. But something about his past, something about his story, makes him pretty cool. For a Raven. "The Blind Side", the story of his past, is a heart warming story of Big Mike Oher and his journey from going from a homeless kid on the street, to the NFL superstar his is today. It shows his struggles, his triumphs, and the ultimate commitment to the family he never had.
"The Blind Side" takes place in Memphis, Tennessee. Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron) is a homeless young man going from home to home, school to school, family to family. It seems that all his life no one has wanted him. One night after a school play, the Tuohys see Micheal walking to the gym. Sensing that something wasn't right, Mrs. Leigh Anne Touhy (Sandra Bullock) pulls over and offers Michael a ride home. After a lot of prodding, Michael goes home with the Tuohys. This one gesture of kindness sparks a relationship with Michael that changes his life. The other Tuohy kids take to Michael, and soon it becomes official. Michael is adopted and becomes a member of their family. But the story doesn't end there.
All in all, "The Blind Side" is a great movie. But some of the aspects about this movie aren't great. Drug and alcohol references, with violence and racial discrimination, combined with the PG-13 rating, make this a movie better suited for young adults and adults. But putting this aside, "The Blind Side" has many goods things about it. Quinton Aaron does a fantastic job of portraying Mike Oher, and Sandra Bullock and the rest of the Tuohy family do amazing when it comes to portraying the family and the unconditional love they show for Michael. I give the movie 3 and 1/2 out of five. Yes, it heart warming and very sweet, but the director's use of language cause this movie to not be family friendly. This movie was based on the book, "The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game." The director did a good job of making the costumes accurate and consistent. The ending was a little predictable, but many know Michael Oher's past, so this was expected. All together, "The Blind Side" is a great movie that I would recommend to anyone.
